Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, we collect data that you have provided us with, such as data you enter in a contact form.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
In accordance with the various statutory provisions in place, you shall be entitled to obtain information at any time, and free of charge, regarding your stored personal data, its origin and potential recipients and the purpose of the data processing (Article 15 GDPR) and, where applicable, the right to rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR), the right to erasure of such data (Article 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing according to Article 18 GDPR, the right to object (Article 21 GDPR) and the right to receive the personal data that you have provided according to Article 20 GDPR. The limitations according to Sections 34 and 35 BDSG apply to the right to information and the right to erasure.

In addition, you shall also have the right to lodge a complaint with a responsible supervisory authority in the event of infringements under data protection law (Article 77 GDPR in conjunction with Section 19 BDSG). When you visit our website, your surfing behaviour may be statistically evaluated. This takes place primarily using cookies and so-called “analytical programs”. Your surfing behaviour is usually analysed anonymously; your surfing behaviour cannot be traced back to you. You may object to such analysis or prevent it from occurring by not using certain tools. You will find detailed information on this in the following Data Privacy Policy.

You may object to such analysis. We will inform you of the opt-out options in this Data Privacy Policy.

2. General remarks and mandatory information

When you use this website, a variety of personal data will be collected. Personal data means any data by which you can be identified as an individual. This Data Privacy Policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how this is done, and for what purpose.

Please note that there are inherent security risks in transmitting data on the internet (e.g. when communicating by email). It is impossible to safeguard data completely against unauthorised access by third parties.

4. Data collection on our website

Cookies
Some of our web pages use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain in your device’s memory until you delete them. These cookies make it possible to recognise your browser when you next visit the site. You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies so that you can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept or reject a cookie. Alternatively, your browser can be configured to automatically accept cookies under certain conditions or to always reject them, or to automatically delete cookies when closing your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. the shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies in order to optimise and provide its services free of technical errors. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are addressed separately in this Data Privacy Policy.

Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called “server log files”, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data will not be combined with data from other sources.

The basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. Server log files are automatically deleted after 14 days.

Contact form
If you use the contact form to send us an enquiry, we will store your details provided in the contact form, including your contact details, for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the case of any follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time. All you need to do is send an informal email to info@wlh-fuerth.de. This will not affect the lawfulness of data processing operations prior to the withdrawal of your consent.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you withdraw your consent to its storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your enquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions – particularly retention periods – remain unaffected.

Registration on this website
You can register on our website in order to use additional functions offered here. We only use the data you have entered for the purpose of enabling you to use the relevant offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full, otherwise we will reject your registration.

We will use the email address given during registration to inform you of important changes such as regarding the scope of our services or any technical changes.

The processing of the data entered during registration is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. All you need to do is send an informal email to info.WLH@srh.de. This will not affect the lawfulness of data processing prior to the withdrawal of your consent.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us for as long as you are registered to our website; it will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

5. Analytical tools and advertising

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The legal basis for the storage of Google Analytics cookies is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent when you visit our website). You can adjust the cookie settings at any time using the “Cookie settings” function in the footer of our website.

IP anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within the Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA first and then truncated there. On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted from your browser through Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

Browser plugin
You can prevent cookies from being stored by setting your browser software accordingly; please note, however, that you may then not be able to use the full functionality of this website. In addition, you can prevent the compilation of the data created by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available from this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objection to data collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set that prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.

For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please see Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Contract data processing
We have concluded a contract with Google for contract data processing, and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities for the use of Google Analytics.

Demographics with Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographics” function of Google Analytics. This enables reports to be created that provide information about the age, gender and interest categories of users of the website. This data originates from interest-based advertising provided by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be attributed to any identifiable person. You can disable this function at any time by setting the ads settings in your Google account accordingly or refuse to allow the collection of your data by Google Analytics in general, as described in the section “Objection to data collection”.

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking

We use the online advertising programme “Google Ads” and conversion tracking in the context of Google Ads. A cookie is placed on your computer by Google Ads for this purpose if you have reached our website via a Google Ad. These cookies lose their effectiveness after 30 days and cannot be used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, both Google and we are able to recognise that you have clicked on the advert and have been forwarded to this page.

Every Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be traced via the websites of Ads customers. The information that is gathered with the help of conversion cookies serves to produce conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. As a result, the customers are informed about the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and have been forwarded to a site with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which the users could be personally identified. Users who do not wish to participate in tracking can simply disable the Google conversion tracking cookie via their internet browser under the user settings. This user will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The basis for storing “conversion cookies” is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its web content and the advertising shown with it.

Meta pixel (ehemals Facebook pixel)
Our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) for conversion measurement.

This makes it possible to track the behaviour of page visitors after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.

The legal basis for the storage of “Facebook cookies” is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent when you visit our website). You can adjust the cookie settings at any time using the “Cookie settings” function in the footer of our website. The cookies are automatically deleted [TG1] [EU(2] after the expiry of the periods specified by Facebook (3 or 12 months). The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible, and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook’s Data Policy. This enables Facebook to serve advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

You can find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook’s Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also disable the “Custom Audiences” remarketing function in the settings section for advertisements at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable usage-based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Facebook also processes data concerning you in the USA, among other places. We point out that, according to the opinion of the European Court of Justice, there is currently no adequate level of protection for data transfers to the USA. This may be associated with various risks for the legality and security of data processing.

Facebook uses so-called “standard contractual clauses” (= Article 46(2) and (3) GDPR) as the basis for data processing for recipients based in third countries (outside the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, i.e. in particular in the USA) or for transferring data there. Standard contractual clauses (SCC) are templates provided by the European Commission; they are designed to ensure that your data complies with European data protection standards even if it is transferred to and stored in third countries (such as the USA). Through these clauses, Facebook undertakes to comply with the European level of data protection when processing your relevant data, even if the data is stored, processed and managed in the USA. These clauses are based on a Commission Implementing Decision. You can find the Decision and the relevant standard contractual clauses, among other things, here: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2021/914/oj?locale=de

The Facebook data processing terms that comply with the standard contractual clauses can be found at https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/dataprocessing.

If you want to learn more about data protection at Facebook, we recommend you read the company’s Privacy Policy at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
